Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rappers. Baker was born April 22 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, who were two missionaries at the time, took him to several trips in his early period of. James Colson Baker, his father, struggled with depression and was unemployed. His mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. After that, Baker and his father relocated to Denver where they lived with his aunt, who was his father's. Baker was bullied because he lived in poverty by other children. In sixth grade, Baker started listening to hip-hop. Colson Baker, also known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. His music is well known for his ability to mix hip-hop style modern with rock. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics with the velocity that of a fast bullet saw an explosion of popularity when at the end of 2011, Baker switched from self-released tracks to well-known label. His career took off immediately, and all of his records making the top 10 charts.
